Mathias Lukasik
My name is Mathias Lukasik, and I am French/Argentinian. I will be part of the Deal Flow team. I will focus on the legal side, aiming to help structure funds and consolidate agreements between ASIF and the start-ups it invests in.
I am currently pursuing a Master's in international technology law at the Vrije Universiteit and have previously worked in a consultancy firm on developing an ESG offering and a Law firm twice (once in their tech/IP/Media practice, and the other time in their Fintech practice) which gave me the competencies to tackle a variety of legal issues revolving around new technologies, and in-depth legal compliance related due diligence.
I have always been drawn to ASIF for its uniqueness (i.e., recent-graduate run, investing in recent graduates) and its portfolio, which has invested in various technology-based start-ups. Joining ASIF Ventures will allow me to apply my legal knowledge, acquire hands-on experience in writing legal documents, and apply my compliance-based due diligence skills.
My background in law enables me to contribute to ASIF’s mission through my unique perspective on technology regulation at a European level, which will allow me to analyze and flag issues relating to start-ups and their products to make safer investment decisions.
