A. My name is Marnix, and I'm a corporate lawyer with over 10 years of experience. I work in the corporate transaction practice at Taylor Wessing, an international law firm based in Amsterdam which also operates globally.
Q. What is your role on the advisory board of ASIF Ventures?
A. Together with Anthony, I focus on providing a legal perspective for ASIF.
Q. How do you see your role on the advisory board contributing to the success of ASIF Ventures?
A. I think we bring continuity to the board. We share our knowledge with the new board members every year and work with the board on the paperwork. I believe my involvement in stakeholder management, particularly with ASIF’s shareholders, is also quite valuable.
Q. How do you believe ASIF Ventures supports and adds value to the Amsterdam startup and VC ecosystem?
A. It's fantastic that universities like VU and UVA both contribute to the ecosystem in Amsterdam. The universities have a great place in the ecosystem, not only in Amsterdam, but also in other cities in the Netherlands and around the world. And the board itself—every year, there's great talent supported by many people, and I think they really create something new, special, and something of its own. And that's just great. Keep going!
